About me

Hi!馃憢 I am Ao Wang. Starting in Fall 2026, I will begin my Ph.D. in FinTech at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou).

My work and interests sit at the intersection of blockchain and AI. I care about both academic research and entrepreneurship: turning research questions into rigorous papers, and turning useful technical ideas into products and infrastructure.

On the entrepreneurship side, I have held core roles across multiple venture-backed startups, with aggregate financing exceeding RMB 100M. I have repeatedly taken products from 0 to 1, especially in blockchain infrastructure, AI-native products, agent platforms, and full-stack product systems.

Recently, I have been building as Co-founder of OpenNomos and Founder of PaperList.ai. My broader work spans blockchain + AI systems, agentic RAG, AI-native research workflows, and production-grade full-stack engineering.

  • Blockchain + AI. Agentic systems, decentralized coordination, cryptoeconomic infrastructure, and AI-native workflows for open knowledge and financial technology.
  • LLM Agents and Agentic RAG. Tool-calling, structured-output workflows, multi-turn search, memory-augmented reasoning, and reliability loops for production AI systems.
  • Urban Mobility Intelligence. Personalized route planning, trajectory understanding, passenger complaint mining, and city-scale transportation knowledge modeling.
  • Agent Systems & Evaluation Harnesses. Agent runtime architecture, tool-use orchestration, task planning, evaluation harnesses, trace/replay systems, monitoring, and reliability testing for production AI agents.
